How we work

Five steps, one campaign at a time

Every engagement follows the same sequence — how long each step takes depends on the campaign, not on a template we apply to everyone.

Working through a campaign plan step by step
Step 01 · Objective

What are we trying to achieve?

We start with the business objective — a product to shift, a market to open, a season to cover — and the time frame it has to happen in.

Step 02 · Budget planning

What is available, and what it buys

The total figure, how it is split across placements and audiences, and what that level of spend realistically covers. We say so when a budget will not stretch to the objective.

Step 03 · Setup

Built and checked before it runs

Accounts, audiences, placements and creative assembled, with the tracking in place before the campaign goes live.

Step 04 · Monitoring

Watched while it is live

Delivery, spend and response tracked against the plan, so a problem shows up as a number rather than as a surprise at the end.

Step 05 · Optimisation

Changed because of what the data shows

Adjustments to audiences, creative and pacing made while the campaign is running, on the review rhythm agreed at the start.

Then what?

Most clients continue

A single campaign is a fair way to test the relationship. If the numbers hold, the engagement usually continues month to month, with each campaign building on what the last one showed.

Budget planning

The honest version of a budget conversation

We will not tell you a figure guarantees a return, because no honest agency can. What we can do is show how a budget is allocated, what each part of it is for, and what the campaign will need to see before a change is worth making.

Monitoring & optimisation

Reporting you can act on

Delivery, spend and response, against the plan you agreed. Where something is under-delivering we say so and explain the change we are making — and where a campaign is working, we leave it alone rather than changing it for the sake of a report.

What we need from you to start

  • The objective, in your words — what has to change, and by when.
  • Access to the advertising accounts the campaign will run from, or permission to set them up.
  • Brand assets and any product or offer details the creative has to work with.
  • A budget range, so the plan we build is one you can actually run.

If any of that is not settled yet, start with the proposal form anyway. Working out the objective and the budget range is usually the first thing we do together.
